Our Carrier installation process, step by step

  1. 1. Free Carrier survey and heat-load calculation

We measure glazing, orientation and room volume to size the Carrier unit correctly — oversizing causes short-cycling and poor dehumidification.

  2. 2. Fixed-price design and quote

You get unit models, pipe routes, condensate route and outdoor unit position in writing, with VAT included and no hidden extras.

  3. 3. First-fix installation

Brackets, refrigerant pipework, drainage and the electrical supply go in with dust sheets down and floor protection throughout.

  4. 4. Pressure test, vacuum and charge

Nitrogen strength test, evacuation to below 500 microns and weighed-in R-32 charge — the step most warranty claims hinge on.

  5. 5. Commissioning and F-Gas certification

Performance readings, F-Gas record, Part P electrical certificate and Carrier warranty registration completed the same day.

  6. 6. Handover and aftercare

We show you the controls and app, then set an annual service to keep the 5-year Carrier warranty valid.

Carrier air conditioning installation — FAQs

How much does Carrier air conditioning installation cost?

A single-room Carrier wall-split system starts at £2,100 fully installed, including the unit, pipework, electrical connection, commissioning and certification. Multi-split systems serving 2–4 rooms typically run £4,500–£8,500, and commercial cassette or ducted systems are priced per zone after a site survey.

Are you Carrier approved installers?

We are F-Gas certified and REFCOM registered, and we install and register Carrier equipment as part of the manufacturer's installer scheme. That registration is what unlocks the extended 5-year equipment warranty on your system.

What warranty comes with a Carrier system?

5-year parts warranty on registered systems. On top of that, our own installation carries a 5-year parts and labour warranty. Warranty cover requires correct commissioning and an annual service, both of which we can handle.

Can I get Carrier air conditioning installed in my home?

Yes. Carrier domestic wall-split and multi-split systems are suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and loft conversions. Every installation is quoted fixed, in writing, before work begins.

How long does a Carrier installation take?

A single Carrier wall-split is normally completed in one day. Multi-split systems serving several rooms take two to three days, and commercial installations are programmed after the survey — often out of hours to protect trading.

Do you service and repair Carrier air conditioning?

Yes — we service, regas and repair Carrier equipment whether or not we installed it, and annual servicing keeps the manufacturer warranty valid.
